Do any of the shoes come in wide width? I love the look of your shoes but I’m afraid to order if they are too narrow. Thanks for a reply. :-) Regards - Amber
Hi Amber, Thank you for your questions. We usually manufacture our shoes to fit the medium wide foot. If you usually buy your shoes in specifically wide sizes ours may unfortunately be too wide for you.
I’m between 8 1/2 and 9 what size should I order?
I would definitely order up. I bought my size, which fits me in some of the other styles, but they were too small.
The description on the Scandinavia Leather Oxfords says "leather and rubber outsole." Are the base of the heel and the base of the outsole both leather? I'm trying to determine if these are suitable for flatfooting dancing (no rubber contact with the floor).
There is some rubber on the base that makes them not good shoes for dancing I think. Plus, they are a little rigid in the middle hence not that flexible for using them as dancing shoes. I mean, they are perfect (and stunning!) shoes for walking, but I’d not use them for this purpose. In my case specifically, I do swing dancing, so I am figuring this sort of use because of the vintage look. By the way, Dancing Queen is another good sort for this if you like (which I personally bought as well). You’d need to be able to slide nicely anyways even if you dance other styles probably. Maybe you can ask Bali Elf to customize them for you? Just an idea. Good luck! I really love these shoes. You will not go wrong buying them anyways! Maria
