Hi! I don’t really ever do introductions and I couldn’t think of a caption, so we’ll do the intro thing for new faces. Thank you if you’ve been here for 7 years or 7 minutes. 🤍⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ My name is Heather and the only reason “daughtersandthings” is my username is because I thought of it in less than a minute and didn’t feel like thinking of anything else. I’m 28 and have been married to knife.and.pint for 8 years this September! Our oldest daughter is our strawberry girl Rosalie and she’ll be 7 in July. Fern is our fierce second born, she’s 4. No we don’t want anymore kids. ⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I spend all my days at home with my girls and wouldn’t have it any other way. Getting to do exactly what we want each day and embracing the slow. We don’t really do schedules and planned classes or anything. You can find us barefoot 24/7, homeschooling, 90% of the time we’re probably outdoors, crafting, gardening, making all sorts of holistic DIYs, cooking nourishing traditional foods, baking fun treats, and reading many stories together. 👩🏻‍🌾🐓🍄⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ We live on a 1/2 acre and aren’t letting that stop us from making our homesteading dreams come alive. This isn’t our forever home, it’s not one of those typical IG homes, but it’s cute and little and sure has a lot of history for my husband who grew up here. It warms my heart thinking how he lived his childhood here while our girls live theirs here too. It’s not much, but we make the most of it.⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I’m honestly a controversial conspiracy realist gal. Holistic living is our world. No vaccines, all organic, nontox products, low media, free range parenting, don’t have a pedi, traditional living (aka not a feminist), no church even though I believe, pretty darn conservative, pro gun, prochoice across the board, etc. I can truly get along with anyone so long as you can. I’m good with differences, okay let’s be friends now.
